Labnet Dental Lab Systems

Supplynet manages all your important inventory

Newsletter Spring 2007

Bulging stock rooms waste valuable space and money, but running out of supplies disrupts production and adds to everyone's stress levels-including your dentists'! Supplynet helps you to know the exact level of supplies you need on hand, and answers your questions about who, what, where, when, why, and most importantly—how much. When used in conjunction with LabNet, Supplynet provides a detailed breakdown of the materials consumed by individual departments and technicians in the lab, ensuring that the products you need are on-hand when you need them—the real key to running a tight ship.

Keys to Supplynet:

  1. Inventory Multi-Assignment Center; This window allows users to select multiple products and mass assign values for item management. Fore example: minimums, maximums, and product categories.
  2. Item location; This feature gives users the ability to assign room aisle, and shlf location to each product, and is managed through the Inventory multi-assignment center.
  3. Electronic Requisitons; Through our "new" "Employee Requisitions" window employees can come to a computer, select their name, department and products they are needing. SupplyNet will create a distribution pick list, assign the product to the specific employee, and department they work in, and reduce inventory levels.
  4. Create and track product returns to suppliers. Through our "Supplier Product Return" window users can select and list products being returned to suppliers andmonitor those returns to verify credits are properly issued.

The Home Window

Information about current orders, suppliers, the employees who ordered the supplies, and precise on-hand inventory levels are managed from the Home Window. The Home Window makes helps keep you on top of tasks by placing the information you need in plain view.

Ordering Management

SupplyNet supports two methods of determining what needs to be ordered; Just-In Time ordering uses sophisticated calculations based on your lab's actual consumption history for each product. A single button click generates suggested order quantities designed to keep only and exactly what you need in the lab at any given time.

Or you can opt for Minimum/Maximum Ordering. Simply specify a minimum and maximum quantity limit for each product, then click a button to create an order list of all products at or below the minimum limit with a suggested order quantity to reach the precise maximum limit you established for each product.
