If you have, then you’re ready to learn more about Labnet. To make that possible for you, we offer three Training Seminars a year, in different regions of North America. These sessions are instrumental in getting the most from your software investment, as the staff who attend them are better equipped to meet business challenges in an efficient manner.

There are three training seminars for 2007:

  1. August 22, 23, and 24 at the Sullivan Schein Center, 510 Myrtle Ave. Suite 101, South San Francisco, CA, 94080
  2. September 19, 20, and 21 at the Sullivan Schein Center, 4710 Eisenhowr Blvd. Suite B-1, Tampa, FL, 33634
  3. October 3, 4, and 5 at the Sullivan Schein Center, 357 Crossways Park Dr. Woodbury, NY, 11797

The seminars are divided into three one-day sessions, each with its own focus.

Session Information

Session 1—Setup (Wednesday, 1:00pm-5:00 pm)
This session is designed for new users, whether Labnet is new to the lab or the staff is new to Labnet! Lab staff who have just begun or are about to begin scheduling should also attend as well as anyone who feels they are not getting the results they need or expect from Labnet.

Learn:
  • How Labnet "thinks"
  • The effect of what you put in on what you get out
  • How to troubleshoot your schedule
  • Using “free” fields to track information in Labne.
This session covers the basics that form the foundation for Session 2.
Session 2—Work Flow (Thursday, 8:00am-5:00 pm)
Session 2 is designed for staff who want to capitalize on the specific Labnet functions that will streamline processes and reduce handwritten work and duplication. During this eight-hour session we mimic the work flow you experience daily in the lab and show you how to use Labnet more effectively to get that work done. This includes:
  • Case management including try-ins, remakes, etc.
  • Using calendars to manage workflow
  • Using calendars to plan for big cases
  • Information management
  • Scheduling reports, delivery reports, work tickets
  • Handling phone calls.
  • Presription scanning and image attachment
  • Using Labnet features to avoid common problems
  • Exporting to QuickBooks
  • Basic Labnet reporting
Session 3—Technician and Information Management (Friday, 8:00am-4pm)
Session 3 is designed for Gold and Platinum users. During this eight hour session we address the veteran user’s questions. In addition we will focus on:
  • Setup for scheduling by technician
  • Hardware considerations
  • Productivity setup
  • Reports - file structures and field names
  • Working with other applications
  • Labnet’s communication features

Registration is fully flexible; you can sign up for the full conference or for individual sessions.
