Features for the Lab
New Cases
DDX expedites and simplifies case submissions by allowing dentists to enter cases online. Your staff can view the cases in Labnet as soon as they are submitted. You’ll instantly have all of the information including tooth numbers, shades, case design for crown and bridge cases, notes, etc. You can arrange a pickup, or have your email software automatically page or send a text message to your driver. When the cases arrive, you scan the printed prescription or click on the case in Labnet to start production.
Pickup Requests (requires Labnet Platinum)
Electronic notification may be sent via email and forwarded directly to your driver’s PDA, Blackberry, phone or pager through your mobile service provider.
Shipment Tracking
If you use UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, or Purolator, your clients can easily track their shipments through DDX. Enter tracking numbers in Labnet to provide the dental practice with a link to each case through the courier’s tracking web site.
Attached Files
One of the great advantages DDX offers is the ability to attach files to cases. Dentists can attach pictures, documents, X-rays, and shades– practically any digital file that might help clarify the patient’s unique requirements. These files are automatically linked to the case in Labnet and may be reviewed at any time by clicking the “Attached Files” button on the case window.
Account Balance and Payments
The DDX “Account Balance” and “Authorize Payment” options allow dental practices to view their own account balances and month-to-date invoice totals. Payments are quickly and easily authorized online for dentists whose credit card information is held by the lab.
Statements
DDX makes your statements convenient and accessible. More than just an itemized report, the DDX statement allows your customers to click on invoice line items to view details. They can print or cut and paste the data into their spreadsheet software for their records.
